If Claus Lanphan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacky Bruyninckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Vuerinx in the 33rd minute of the match. Voorne's Ricky Wils got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rozen were furious when Gustav Vorster was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Rozen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Voorne:s goal. The referee gave Voorne a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gregorie Kest, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rozen's Jacky Bruyninckx. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Gilles Spoelbergh made the kick off in the second half. If Andreas Vuerinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The Rozen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacky Bruyninckx should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rozen's Francois Van De Gehuchte got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gregorie Kest took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacky Bruyninckx. Rozen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bobby Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacky Bruyninckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Vuerinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th match minute, Rozen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hendrik Schipmans to maneuver through the defense. Claus Lanphan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneel Van Elsen made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Gilles Spoelbergh sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Voorne fully deserved thier win.
