Wannes Demuynck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tijs De Geest, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Komen's Isidoor Kerckmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Komen from getting a goal against them. Tijs De Geest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wannes Demuynck having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Komen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaert Oosters to maneuver through the defense. Komen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Binjamin Van Huytvenne scored to the left of an out of position Isidoor Kerckmans, making the score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Reinaert Oosters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoor Kerckmans made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Anthony Van Den Casteele sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julien Struelens during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 45 minutes into the match, Jonge-Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Tijs De Geest came free, but Wannes Demuynck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Emanuel Rix made the kick off in the second half. Komen's Isidoor Kerckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binjamin Van Huytvenne in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binjamin Van Huytvenne in the 53rd minute of play forced Komen's goalkeeper Isidoor Kerckmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jannes Eijkens fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Komen's protests and gave Jannes Eijkens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Komen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jannes Eijkens to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Komen's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Rix came free, but Isidoor Kerckmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Rix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Rix took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoor Kerckmans. Isidoor Kerckmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jonge-Warriors's goalkeeper Wannes Demuynck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Jonge-Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Tijs De Geest came free, but Wannes Demuynck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaud Uijterhoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wannes Demuynck having to interfere. Julien Struelens struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Isidoor Kerckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonge-Warriors. 72 minutes into the match, Jonge-Warriors's Binjamin Van Huytvenne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoor Kerckmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Emanuel Rix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jonge-Warriors's Julien Struelens got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes of play, Jonge-Warriors's Binjamin Van Huytvenne made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoor Kerckmans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Komen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
