Bertrand Van Meerbeeck hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The long shot by Izak Van Cruchten in the 9th minute really tested Levi Heijligem's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tottenham's zone, Jeffery Elens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Vuerinckx came out of the goal and Jeffery Elens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tottenham booed when Ruisbroek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolas Theys didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, Tottenham's Ron Buyck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Levi Heijligem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham reached it. In the 25th minute of the match Henri-Xavier Billen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Levi Heijligem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tony Vuerinckx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeffery Elens's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The Ruisbroek fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Ruisbroek's Alphonse Sterckmans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lander Fouquet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Levi Heijligem made a huge save. Levi Heijligem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lander Fouquet in the 33rd minute. Jeffery Elens struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tony Vuerinckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruisbroek. Bertrand Van Meerbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Lorenz Nagels hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristiaan Daniels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Ruisbroek got a freekick which was hit by Lorenz Nagels. If Jeffery Elens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alphonse Sterckmans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Tony Vuerinckx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Kristiaan Daniels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Levi Heijligem. Ruisbroek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristiaan Daniels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a little luck, Tottenham's Tony Vuerinckx got control of the ball when Alphonse Sterckmans tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alphonse Sterckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Kristiaan Daniels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Levi Heijligem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tony Vuerinckx stood somewhat misplaced when Jeffery Elens came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 86 minute. 92 minutes into the game, Ruisbroek's Alphonse Sterckmans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Vuerinckx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. When the match was over Ruisbroek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tottenham throughout the match.
