In the 79th minute, Jannis De Mare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, KVSK Herstappe's Levi Eggers threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jannes De Geutter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 86 minutes into the match, KVSK Herstappe's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Van Den Eynden came free, but Didier Van Gestel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KVSK Herstappe would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
