Sammy Labrouche was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Loui Vanden Driessche showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. Diederiek Minnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gijzelbrechtegem's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
