Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) When Desselgem's Bob Verdonck in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ambly's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Desselgem booed when Ambly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial Walder didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Overloop in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Van Hoof saved Ambly from getting behind. Wayne Eggers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desselgem's Bob Verdonck got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bob Verdonck struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Birger Van Hoof didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desselgem. Birger Van Hoof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Overloop in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Tommie Vinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Overloop in the 32nd minute of play forced Ambly's goalkeeper Birger Van Hoof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Jonathan Merckx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Merckx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Verdonck in the 40th minute of play forced Ambly's goalkeeper Birger Van Hoof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommie Vinx struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kenny Dierickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ambly.

Bob Verdonck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Birger Van Hoof skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th match minute, Ambly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Vinx to maneuver through the defense. Birger Van Hoof was a little too slow when Theo Overloop got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bob Verdonck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desselgem's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Verdonck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Van Hoof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Desselgem's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Merckx came free, but Kenny Dierickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matty Degraef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kenny Dierickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambly's goalkeeper Birger Van Hoof, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Theo Overloop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theo Overloop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Birger Van Hoof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Desselgem's zone, Matty Degraef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Dierickx came out of the goal and Matty Degraef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ambly getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tommie Vinx hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Desselgem had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
