Christopher Denys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balthazar Van den Bergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Berrewouts in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Sebastian Berrewouts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Wezepoel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Malonne getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Joey Van Leempoel hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Franck Moerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Balthazar Van den Bergh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Sebastian Berrewouts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Wezepoel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Berrewouts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruud Viskens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Denys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Meulemans charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeff Meulemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Malonne booed when SK Wezepoel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Meulemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Joey Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Malonne's Richard Bautmans got a free kick in the 31st minute. Christopher Denys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ruud Viskens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffe Celis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, SK Wezepoel's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Denys came free, but Ruud Viskens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, SK Wezepoel's Sebastian Berrewouts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Balthazar Van den Bergh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Steffe Celis took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Balthazar Van den Bergh to make any attempt to save it. Sebastian Berrewouts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Steffe Celis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthazar Van den Bergh having to interfere. Steffe Celis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Balthazar Van den Bergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruud Viskens came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Malonne's Siebe Masculier. But to his dismay, Siebe Masculier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Xander-Paul Colpaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Christopher Denys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SK Wezepoel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SK Wezepoel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
