Adam Van Bever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kobe De Raeve having to interfere. With a little luck, Wesemael's Kobe De Raeve got control of the ball when Joseph Campens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Jaques Daniels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Herdersem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kobe De Raeve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne deconinck in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as VC Herdersem's Adam Van Bever slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kobe De Raeve. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. Kobe De Raeve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Van Bever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wesemael booed when VC Herdersem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Van Bever didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaas Eijkens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kobe De Raeve. Wesemael's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kobe De Raeve was a little too slow when Rik Van De Broeck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. Klaas Eijkens charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaas Eijkens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes VC Herdersem got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Eijkens. If Etienne deconinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kobe De Raeve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Van Bever in the 39th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Jaques Daniels took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Kobe De Raeve to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Wesemael booed when VC Herdersem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Campens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gillis Verdonckt made a kick off. Harold Schoenmakers took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kobe De Raeve. Kobe De Raeve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludwig De Coninck during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Wesemael:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VC Herdersem:s goal. In the 63rd minute, Joseph Campens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Wesemael booed when VC Herdersem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Van Bever didn't get a good kick on the ball. VC Herdersem's 麦宁明 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save VC Herdersem from getting a goal against them. Adam Van Bever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kobe De Raeve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kobe De Raeve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etienne deconinck in the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Wesemael got a freekick which was hit by Sander Van Deyck. Adam Van Bever struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Kobe De Raeve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Herdersem. Joseph Campens hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 麦宁明 made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Luka Van Gorpt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillis Verdonckt in the 86th minute of play forced VC Herdersem's goalkeeper 麦宁明 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wesemael's zone, Jaques Daniels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kobe De Raeve came out of the goal and Jaques Daniels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaques Daniels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VC Herdersem fully deserved thier win.
