VC Herdersem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Boris Stuyck scored to the left of an out of position 麦宁明, making the score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, KFC Warisoulx's Octavian Pauwels got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jaques Daniels scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef van Haghten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Adam Van Bever came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the VC Herdersem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Van Bever couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, KFC Warisoulx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieux Vounckx to maneuver through the defense. Etienne deconinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef van Haghten having to interfere. When Jaques Daniels came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the VC Herdersem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaques Daniels couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garry Huvenaerts was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Adam Van Bever fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Josef van Haghten having to interfere. 52 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when VC Herdersem's Etienne deconinck fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jaques Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Josef van Haghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Van Bever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, KFC Warisoulx's goalkeeper Josef van Haghten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Etienne deconinck. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Adam Van Bever managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Herdersem's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Van Bever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef van Haghten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Van Bever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Josef van Haghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef van Haghten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Van Bever in the 64th minute of the match. If Adolf Rymenans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 麦宁明 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Huvenaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Adam Van Bever recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Josef van Haghten. Adam Van Bever showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Adam Van Bever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Warisoulx's goalkeeper Josef van Haghten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Loui Colebrants's shot from long distance in the 82nd minute was not bad at all, but KFC Warisoulx's Josef van Haghten knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Rymenans in the 84th minute of play forced VC Herdersem's goalkeeper 麦宁明 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Campens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josef van Haghten came out and tried to block the shot, but Joseph Campens slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute Etienne deconinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef van Haghten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etienne deconinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The KFC Warisoulx fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VC Herdersem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
