Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Van Den Poel took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Lannoye in the 4th minute of play forced SV Athos's goalkeeper Ray Enfant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kieth Diependaele during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes SV Athos got a freekick which was hit by Kieth Diependaele. If Christof Bal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SV Athos fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when SV Athos's Geoffry Machiels looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 26 minutes into the game, Vincent Lannoye recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ray Enfant. Vincent Lannoye showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 36th minute, Aime Geeraerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Lannoye might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Enfant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vincent Lannoye ran back to his position shaking his head. Ray Enfant was a little too slow when Aime Geeraerts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Vincent Lannoye managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. «Team»be™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Lannoye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christof Bal was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Aime Geeraerts notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of SV Athos's Ray Enfant. Ray Enfant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Van Den Poel in the 64th minute of play forced «Team»be™'s goalkeeper Michiel Roosendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raf Van den Berge hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Aime Geeraerts made a precise shot to the right of Ray Enfant. SV Athos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. If Christof Bal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ray Enfant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christof Bal in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of «Team»be™ booed when SV Athos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Van Den Poel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SV Athos's Wesly Ruelens got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christof Bal in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Enfant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
