Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Jose Eekhout blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Bastin having to make a save. Hans Bastin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Maerschalcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Armoede's Jose Eekhout got a free kick in the 11th minute. Richey Cremers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Vissenaeckens struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jacob Sterkx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hody. 24 minutes into the match, Hody's goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Maerschalcx came free, but Hans Bastin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Bastin was a little too slow when Arnauld Maerschalcx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Hody's Hans Bastin got control of the ball when Jose Eekhout tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Jose Eekhout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armoede's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Eekhout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Eekhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hans Bastin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Hody's goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Maerschalcx came free, but Hans Bastin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Jose Eekhout cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hans Bastin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnauld Maerschalcx made a kick off. Bobby Streels hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Armoede's Emile Maerschalck got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Hody's Axell Van Aertvinck broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Richey Cremers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Sterkx. Armoede's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richey Cremers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 76 minutes into the game, Philippe Laporte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armoede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hody the free kick. Roger Vissenaeckens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jose Eekhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armoede's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Eekhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Bastin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Jose Eekhout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Bastin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Eekhout in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Maerschalcx in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Bastin saved Hody from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jose Eekhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armoede's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Eekhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Bastin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Eekhout in the 97th minute of play forced Hody's goalkeeper Hans Bastin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armoede's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
