Emile Jansens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartjan van Haecht in the 11th minute. Thierry Sterkx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Vandenberge's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sem Vounckx in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emile Jansens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Milanese's Jonas De Jaeger got a free kick in the 55th minute. Thierry Sterkx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Vandenberge in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Vandenberge in the 89th minute of play forced U18 Academy's goalkeeper Thierry Sterkx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geordy Heijligen took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emile Jansens. Emile Jansens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
