Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niels Meulders started the match with the kick off. Oswald De Vleeschauwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joe Nurmela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo De Raeijmaeker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Van Der Taelen having to interfere. If Gertjan Goris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoff Waron charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoff Waron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes KT Underground got a freekick which was hit by Christoff Waron. Axel Van Der Taelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo De Raeijmaeker, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gertjan Goris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Nurmela having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Oswald De Vleeschauwer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KT Underground's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswald De Vleeschauwer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Christoff Waron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Niels Meulders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Van Der Taelen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Vandekerkhove during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes KT Underground got a freekick which was hit by Charles Vandekerkhove. Gwada Boys's Bernt Van Linthoud couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KT Underground. Niels Meulders blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Van Der Taelen having to make a save. Joe Nurmela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gertjan Goris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joe Nurmela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Goris in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oswald De Vleeschauwer to strike the kick off in the second half. Oswald De Vleeschauwer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Gwada Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Meulders to maneuver through the defense. Mateo De Raeijmaeker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Van Der Taelen having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Niels Meulders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gwada Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KT Underground the free kick. A collision led to Gwada Boys getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Niels Meulders hit a great ball. Axel Van Der Taelen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo De Raeijmaeker went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Gwada Boys's Niels Meulders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Van Der Taelen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gwada Boys's zone, Oswald De Vleeschauwer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Nurmela came out of the goal and Oswald De Vleeschauwer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mateo De Raeijmaeker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gwada Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo De Raeijmaeker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Van Der Taelen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Axel Van Der Taelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo De Raeijmaeker, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Niels Meulders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the KT Underground defense, Mateo De Raeijmaeker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Van Der Taelen. The KT Underground fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Van Der Taelen should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in KT Underground's zone, Mateo De Raeijmaeker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Van Der Taelen came out of the goal and Mateo De Raeijmaeker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gwada Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
