An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoachim Reijnders in the 9th minute of play forced Fc Ganshoren's goalkeeper Lisandro Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Wannes De Worteler. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yoachim Reijnders during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Yoachim Reijnders got a free kick in the 11th minute. Frederik Geijselinx made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Amaury De Ridder sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Brugge's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boudewijn Colebrandts was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Ganshoren's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fc Ganshoren's Boudewijn Colebrandts to fire away a dangerous shot which Frederik Geijselinx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Fc Ganshoren defense, Yoachim Reijnders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Cordara. The Fc Ganshoren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Cordara should have stopped the shot. Berten Wynant took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Cordara. Fc Ganshoren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lisandro Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoachim Reijnders in the 23rd minute of play. Lisandro Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wannes De Worteler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acácio Cerezos short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Frederik Geijselinx to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Yoachim Reijnders notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fc Ganshoren's Lisandro Cordara. Lisandro Cordara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cederik Spoelberghe came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Fc Ganshoren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cederik Spoelberghe couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Yoachim Reijnders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lisandro Cordara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lisandro Cordara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoachim Reijnders's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Fc Ganshoren's Lisandro Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wannes De Worteler in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Yoachim Reijnders left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Brugge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Boudewijn Colebrandts charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boudewijn Colebrandts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Ganshoren fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Acácio Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. Wannes De Worteler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Cordara having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Wannes De Worteler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lisandro Cordara. Wannes De Worteler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 70thth minute of the game Yoachim Reijnders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Ganshoren's Lisandro Cordara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 0-7 became the score in the 71st minute when Wannes De Worteler elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lisandro Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoachim Reijnders in the 74th minute of play. Lisandro Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wannes De Worteler in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wannes De Worteler to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes, Fc Ganshoren's Robrecht Vollens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederik Geijselinx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Ganshoren reached it. In the 88th minute, Robrecht Vollens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fc Ganshoren booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Van Turnhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wannes De Worteler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Cordara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 99th minute of the match Berten Wynant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lisandro Cordara skillfully saved the ball. Club Brugge played a much better game than Fc Ganshoren and deserved their victory. The Fc Ganshoren players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
