Frederic Theuniers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo D'Hondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Valkenaers's late challenge caught a Ciney's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnout Valkenaers helped the player get up and apologised. Romeo Zamfir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dyllen Van den Berghe in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Ciney booed when Affligem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ysidro Aostri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dyllen Van den Berghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ciney left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Affligem.
