Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) De Haan's Arend Elssen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Mitch Cooreman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jabbeke's Dany Matthys got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, De Haan's Geoffrey Van Der Taelen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dany Matthys's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timothy Kempenaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gwenn Verduyckt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arend Elssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mathieu Herinckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jabbeke's Mathieu Herinckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Jabbeke from getting a goal against them. Arend Elssen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Geoffrey Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Haan's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoffrey Van Der Taelen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathieu Herinckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arend Elssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The attack was good, but when Arend Elssen in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Robben Bellinkx fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Haan's protests and gave Robben Bellinkx a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Robben Bellinkx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Haan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, Jabbeke's goalkeeper Mathieu Herinckx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arend Elssen. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dany Matthys made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Jabbeke's Pierrot Roosendael got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Robben Bellinkx shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathieu Herinckx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Jabbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Verelst to maneuver through the defense. De Haan's Timothy Kempenaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dany Matthys in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, De Haan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luc Figaro to maneuver through the defense. When Geoffrey Van Der Taelen fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Haan's protests and gave Geoffrey Van Der Taelen a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes De Haan got a freekick which was hit by Geoffrey Van Der Taelen. After a defensive mix-up in De Haan's zone, Dany Matthys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timothy Kempenaerts came out of the goal and Dany Matthys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 played minutes De Haan got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Verdeyen. Erik Verelst, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 66th match minute, De Haan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Van Dijck to maneuver through the defense. Timothy Kempenaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Huytterhoeven in the 69th minute of play. Arend Elssen succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. If Arend Elssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mitch Cooreman during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Mitch Cooreman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robben Bellinkx struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mathieu Herinckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Haan. Arend Elssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mathieu Herinckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Dany Matthys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jabbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dany Matthys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
