Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) KAA Ottignies's Alfred Vandekerkhove started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, KAA Ottignies's Miguel Dauwen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wim Martens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wim Martens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Vandekerkhove in the 7th minute of play. With his leg Giles Tkint managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Club Kelmis's Sebastian Le Page fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastian Le Page was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Club Kelmis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 13th minute, Lucien Deroek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Miguel Dauwen came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the KAA Ottignies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Dauwen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 22 minutes, Bastian Uijtterhoeven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Ottignies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Uijtterhoeven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes, Lucien Deroek made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. KAA Ottignies's Giles Tkint tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 27 minutes, Tibau Van De Wijngaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Ottignies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibau Van De Wijngaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wim Martens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Vandekerkhove's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Dauwen in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wim Martens saved Club Kelmis from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Club Kelmis's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Vandekerkhove came free, but Wim Martens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien Deroek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Sebastian Le Page made the kick off in the second half. Alfred Vandekerkhove recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Kelmis's Ron Martin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Miguel Dauwen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wim Martens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Club Kelmis's Wim Martens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Vandekerkhove in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Club Kelmis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Martin to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Dauwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wim Martens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron Martin's late challenge caught a KAA Ottignies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ron Martin helped the player get up and apologised. Alfred Vandekerkhove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Martens having to interfere. Alfred Vandekerkhove kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Club Kelmis got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Van den Dries. A collision led to Club Kelmis getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ron Martin hit a great ball. Miguel Dauwen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wim Martens having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Sebastian Le Page shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giles Tkint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Deroek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, KAA Ottignies's Bastian Uijtterhoeven got a free kick in the 95th minute. Giles Tkint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Le Page's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. KAA Ottignies's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
