Abraham Elsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Pierre Docx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KSC Grimbergen's Daevy De Reijck got a free kick in the 4th minute. Pierre Docx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim-Alexander Pellegrims in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommie Lemmens in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Docx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurend Van de Loock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Tommie Lemmens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Docx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Elsen's late challenge caught a KSC Grimbergen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Elsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, KV Katelijne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Elsen to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, KV Katelijne's goalkeeper Mike Calewaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Neirynck. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommie Lemmens in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Docx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wesley Klinkenberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Tommie Lemmens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KSC Grimbergen's Pierre Docx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pierre Docx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommie Lemmens in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommie Lemmens in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Docx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierre Docx came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Katelijne's Tommie Lemmens. But to his dismay, Tommie Lemmens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Freek Van den Brul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Freek Van den Brul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

A collision led to KV Katelijne getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Laurend Van de Loock hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommie Lemmens in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre Docx saved KSC Grimbergen from getting behind. Pierre Docx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommie Lemmens's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Davy Neys's late challenge caught a KSC Grimbergen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davy Neys helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Davy Neys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommie Lemmens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre Docx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Pierre Docx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Lemmens, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommie Lemmens in the 72nd minute of play forced KSC Grimbergen's goalkeeper Pierre Docx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommie Lemmens had several of the KSC Grimbergen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Pierre Docx as he didn't even see the shot coming. Abraham Elsen got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Abraham Elsen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Pierre Docx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Lemmens, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pierre Docx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommie Lemmens's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Tommie Lemmens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Docx having to interfere. Paul Schautens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre Docx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Lemmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommie Lemmens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Pierre Docx skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. KV Katelijne played a much better game than KSC Grimbergen and deserved their victory. The KSC Grimbergen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
