When Gino Minnen fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderlecht TH's protests and gave Gino Minnen a yellow card for diving instead. Gino Minnen kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Gillis Maeijnaerts tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dennis Liboton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
