Landen's Ludwig Bossuyt got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovanni Pelgrims showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Lemmens in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Black Panthers's goalkeeper Mathias Wiechgers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddy Boffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mathias Wiechgers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Freddy Boffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Pelgrims showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jilian Van Groenderbeek, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Landen's Giovanni Pelgrims got control of the ball when Wim Rogiers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jilian Van Groenderbeek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alek Lemmens managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Black Panthers's supporters rose to their feet, but Alek Lemmens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Pelgrims breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in The Black Panthers's zone, Ludwig Bossuyt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Wiechgers came out of the goal and Ludwig Bossuyt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Boffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mathias Wiechgers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Bossuyt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Wiechgers having to interfere. Dimitry Wuets kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Jilian Van Groenderbeek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 77 played minutes Landen got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Boffin. Giovanni Pelgrims made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Wim Rogiers sent off a good shot on target. Wim Rogiers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wim Rogiers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. The Black Panthers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wim Rogiers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Landen got a freekick which was hit by Balthazar Dedecker.
