Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Freddy Boffin got the match started through his kick off. Toon Claes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Boffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bernd Gielis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Mickael Omblets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landen's Giovanni Pelgrims was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Winksele's Bernd Gielis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Bossuyt in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickael Omblets in the 16th minute of play forced Landen's goalkeeper Giovanni Pelgrims to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mickael Omblets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitry Wuets's late challenge caught a Winksele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitry Wuets helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Landen's Dimitry Wuets got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Mickael Omblets fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winksele's protests and gave Mickael Omblets a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Winksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickael Omblets to maneuver through the defense. Dimitry Wuets got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Dimitry Wuets kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Toon Claes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Toon Claes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Landen's zone, Senne Camps stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Pelgrims came out of the goal and Senne Camps tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacq Jonckheere took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Pelgrims. Giovanni Pelgrims dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Landen's goalkeeper Giovanni Pelgrims had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toon Claes. If Toon Claes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toon Claes made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Toon Claes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Toon Claes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Pelgrims breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Toon Claes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Pelgrims saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacq Jonckheere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toon Claes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Giovanni Pelgrims tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Toon Claes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jacq Jonckheere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Winksele's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
