In the 36th minute, Rudi Hustinx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Landen's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Hustinx came free, but Giovanni Pelgrims reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertan Pelsers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Pelgrims having to interfere. The tension between the Lierke Plezierke and the Landen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Landen booed when Lierke Plezierke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Van Caenegem didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes of play Lierke Plezierke's Ivo Van Caenegem was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th minute, Ivo Van Caenegem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. One of Lierke Plezierke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Landen:s goal. The referee gave Landen a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reinaert Valckenaers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lierke Plezierke's Matthy De Moor. 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Boffin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 57 in the game by Ludwig Bossuyt from a close distance when the talented Matthy De Moor managed to make a qualified save. Lierke Plezierke's players were relieved. A collision led to Lierke Plezierke getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bertan Pelsers hit a great ball. If Freddy Boffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthy De Moor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Boffin in the 64th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertan Pelsers during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Lierke Plezierke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthy De Moor should have stopped the shot. Landen's Ludwig Bossuyt got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The goalkeeper, Matthy De Moor, was totally fooled by Landen's Reinaert Valckenaers, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lierke Plezierke's Geordy Van Bostraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 104th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Landen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
