In the 15th minute, Jilian Van Groenderbeek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Black Panthers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Matthy De Moor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jilian Van Groenderbeek in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Bertan Pelsers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Wiechgers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthy De Moor made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Wim Rogiers sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, The Black Panthers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alek Lemmens to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Wiechgers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertan Pelsers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bertan Pelsers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 minutes, Etienne Poets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lierke Plezierke and the The Black Panthers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wim Rogiers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthy De Moor having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, The Black Panthers's goal looked a bit too open when Rudi Hustinx came free, but Mathias Wiechgers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Wiechgers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Hustinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Mathias Wiechgers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertan Pelsers in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudi Hustinx in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Wiechgers prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
