The KAA Arbre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giles De Custer should have stopped the shot. Marc De Neuter's late challenge caught a KAA Arbre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorden Van der Vloedt to make the kick off. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC McChouffe's goalkeeper Julius Huijgens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cederic De Vriendt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the game, KAA Arbre's Jorden Van der Vloedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julius Huijgens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KAA Arbre fully deserved thier win.
