Brigata Nera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Gilian Temmerman scored to the left of an out of position Mathias Everaerts, making the score, 1-2. Gilian Temmerman had several of the Brigata Nera's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Mathias Everaerts as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tommas Verduin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mathias Everaerts made a huge save. If Dennis Du Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Bas De Strijcker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brigata Nera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bas De Strijcker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas De Strijcker in the 44th minute of play forced Koala gang's goalkeeper Sebastien Verdonck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Sebastien Verdonck made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Bas De Strijcker sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute Bas De Strijcker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastien Verdonck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Everaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilian Temmerman in the 58th minute of play. Octaaf Gyselinck charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octaaf Gyselinck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Robert Van Haeght hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Tommas Verduin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koala gang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommas Verduin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
