Dean De Hont might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Van Hallebeeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dean De Hont ran back to his position shaking his head. Dennis Van Hallebeeck made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Rein Neesens sent off a good shot on target. Dean De Hont struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dennis Van Hallebeeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ringorians. After 32 played minutes SC Vlaasendaal got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Gramet. In the 36th minute, Ringorians's Dean De Hont ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dennis Van Hallebeeck. Dennis Van Hallebeeck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean De Hont in the 41st minute of play forced SC Vlaasendaal's goalkeeper Dennis Van Hallebeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christof Moors kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Dean De Hont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ringorians's Xander-Paul Decaluwe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ringorians from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Matias Jespers in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Matias Jespers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Jespers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander-Paul Decaluwe having to interfere. Dennis Van Hallebeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean De Hont in the 67th minute of the match. Matias Jespers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander-Paul Decaluwe having to interfere. Rein Neesens scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Van Hallebeeck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Tommy Verelst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean De Hont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dennis Van Hallebeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xander-Paul Decaluwe made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Matias Jespers sent off a good shot on target. Dennis Van Hallebeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Neesens in the 92nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dean De Hont in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Van Hallebeeck saved SC Vlaasendaal from getting behind.
