Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dean De Hont started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Hendrik Van Cauwenbergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Warisoulx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hendrik Van Cauwenbergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koen Cesters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Xander-Paul Decaluwe made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koen Cesters got free with Xander-Paul Decaluwe in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Devriendt kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Ringorians booed when SK Warisoulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik Van Cauwenbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rein Neesens in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geert-Jan Lievens saved SK Warisoulx from getting behind. Dean De Hont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, one of SK Warisoulx:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xander-Paul Decaluwe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Volle in the 24th minute of play. Bass Van Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Geert-Jan Lievens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SK Warisoulx's Geert-Jan Lievens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean De Hont in the 28th minute of play. Rein Neesens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Alfons Devriendt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rein Neesens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert-Jan Lievens having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Dean De Hont ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geert-Jan Lievens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 43rd minute Alain Volle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander-Paul Decaluwe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Ringorians were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alain Volle made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koen Cesters in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xander-Paul Decaluwe saved Ringorians from getting behind. In the 53rd match minute, Ringorians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Verelst to maneuver through the defense. Koen Cesters scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xander-Paul Decaluwe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koen Cesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Xander-Paul Decaluwe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean De Hont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert-Jan Lievens having to interfere. After 70 played minutes SK Warisoulx got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Van Cauwenbergh. Geert-Jan Lievens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean De Hont in the 75th minute of the match. Alain Volle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rein Neesens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Geert-Jan Lievens made a huge save. Rein Neesens struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Geert-Jan Lievens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ringorians. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
