Natan Roelandts started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Neesens in the 4th minute of play forced Itegem's goalkeeper Dante Laureys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenny Vrolijcx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute of the match Remy Raymaekers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenny Vrolijcx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Natan Roelandts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lenny Vrolijcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Vrolijcx having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Natan Roelandts notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vinkwijk's Lenny Vrolijcx. Lenny Vrolijcx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st match minute, Itegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basiel Van Dessel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt in the 24th minute of play forced Vinkwijk's goalkeeper Lenny Vrolijcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lenny Vrolijcx saved Vinkwijk from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Natan Roelandts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenny Vrolijcx. Vinkwijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natan Roelandts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After recieving a nice pass, Itegem's Luuk Vloebergh tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Vanden Broucke got free with Dante Laureys in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Natan Roelandts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenny Vrolijcx. Vinkwijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natan Roelandts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Itegem's Sam De Hoef got a free kick in the 38th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Philip De Bisschop put in a rough tackle. 44 minutes into the game, one of Vinkwijk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benny Vanden Broucke to strike the kick off in the second half. Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Lenny Vrolijcx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natan Roelandts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Vinkwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geert-Jan Gendre to maneuver through the defense. The Itegem fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Itegem's Natan Roelandts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Werner Fierens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Itegem's goal looked a bit too open when Benny Vanden Broucke came free, but Dante Laureys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Lenny Vrolijcx managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Itegem's Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenny Vrolijcx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Vanden Broucke in the 79th minute of play forced Itegem's goalkeeper Dante Laureys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Itegem getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sam De Hoef hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes Itegem's Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Lenny Vrolijcx stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Vinkwijk of the goal. Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. With his leg Lenny Vrolijcx managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Itegem's Mathias-Alexander Van Hooveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geert-Jan Gendre kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lenny Vrolijcx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natan Roelandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Vinkwijk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itegem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
