Francis De Mare started the match with the kick off. Benny Vanden Broucke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Thobias Verheijden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinkwijk's Glenn Neesens was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Martijn De Metser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lenny Vrolijcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Neesens struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Thobias Verheijden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinkwijk. With a little luck, Belgium Red Devils's Thobias Verheijden got control of the ball when Benny Vanden Broucke tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belgium Red Devils's Bertan Verstappen got a free kick in the 21st minute. Martijn De Metser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lenny Vrolijcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Glenn Neesens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Benny Vanden Broucke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinkwijk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium Red Devils the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Vinkwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Vanden Broucke to maneuver through the defense. Martijn De Metser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Martijn De Metser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Vrolijcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glenn Neesens to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Francis De Mare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinkwijk's Lenny Vrolijcx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belgium Red Devils's Thobias Verheijden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Neesens in the 61st minute of play. Christoffel Lievens kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes, Vinkwijk's Tran Cockx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thobias Verheijden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vinkwijk reached it. After having played for 69 minutes, Martijn De Metser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martijn De Metser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes Belgium Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Artuur Deroek. Benny Vanden Broucke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benny Vanden Broucke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thobias Verheijden having to interfere. If Benny Vanden Broucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Belgium Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristof de Neuyter to maneuver through the defense. Thobias Verheijden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Neesens in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Glenn Neesens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thobias Verheijden was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Benny Vanden Broucke came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vinkwijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benny Vanden Broucke couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Vinkwijk booed when Belgium Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertan Verstappen didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium Red Devils players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vinkwijk.
