Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Timothy Grootjans made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senne Paaps in the 5th minute of play forced Ruislede's goalkeeper Staf Armentier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Sassenhout's Senne Paaps dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Martijn Camps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staf Armentier came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Sassenhout's Stefan Raemakers. But to his dismay, Stefan Raemakers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Staf Armentier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senne Paaps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Ruislede's goal looked a bit too open when Senne Paaps came free, but Staf Armentier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Senne Paaps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staf Armentier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Sassenhout's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Grootjans came free, but Evert-Jan Algoedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Senne Paaps in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staf Armentier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Senne Paaps fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Staf Armentier, passed just outside the right post.

Ruislede's Staf Armentier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senne Paaps in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Krabbe in the 63rd minute of play forced Ruislede's goalkeeper Staf Armentier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Raemakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Staf Armentier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Staf Armentier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Senne Paaps, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Senne Paaps in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staf Armentier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Senne Paaps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Staf Armentier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Ruislede's goal looked a bit too open when Senne Paaps came free, but Staf Armentier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Stefan Raemakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staf Armentier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sassenhout had played much better football throughout.
