Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maurus Tilemans started the match with the kick off. Steve Van de cauter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luke van Eycken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. In the 7th minute Peter-Jan Van Hautvinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke van Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Jeremey Beetens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Ardooie and the De Panne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of De Panne booed when KFC Ardooie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremey Beetens didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Panne's Loui de Reyck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save De Panne from getting a goal against them. Loui de Reyck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurus Tilemans in the 15th minute of play. Loui de Reyck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurus Tilemans's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Giovanny Vergouwen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Ardooie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Giovanny Vergouwen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Loui de Reyck made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Maurus Tilemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Ardooie's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurus Tilemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loui de Reyck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luke van Eycken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter-Jan Van Hautvinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Giovanny Vergouwen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loui de Reyck having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurus Tilemans in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loui de Reyck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl Van Adorp hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Giovanny Vergouwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Loui de Reyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurus Tilemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loui de Reyck having to interfere. Loui de Reyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurus Tilemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes De Panne got a freekick which was hit by Jullian Cornelis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter-Jan Van Hautvinck got free with Luke van Eycken in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremey Beetens kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Karl Van Adorp was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, one of KFC Ardooie:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KFC Ardooie. In the 70th minute, De Panne got a penalty, and Pieter-Jan Kint placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Peter-Jan Van Hautvinck struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Luke van Eycken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Panne. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Giovanny Vergouwen managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Ardooie's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanny Vergouwen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loui de Reyck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Giovanny Vergouwen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the KFC Ardooie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanny Vergouwen couldn't finish the play. Giovanny Vergouwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Loui de Reyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Giovanny Vergouwen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robben Baeyens charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robben Baeyens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, De Panne's Robben Baeyens got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Senne Verhaghe during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KFC Ardooie getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Senne Verhaghe hit a great ball. The supporters of KFC Ardooie booed when De Panne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Van de cauter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in De Panne's zone, Giovanny Vergouwen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loui de Reyck came out of the goal and Giovanny Vergouwen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 99th minute, Giovanny Vergouwen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. De Panne succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though KFC Ardooie had controlled the match.
