Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yannis Lenoir got the match started through his kick off. Bruges Saint-Croix's Jammy Vrankx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Bruges Saint-Croix from getting a goal against them. Izak Kerselaers hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Evert-Jan Blomme succeeded in the game's 9th minute to get real power on a long shot . Haneffe's Carlos Suetens hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Dyllan Capellemans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Suetens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rens Van Deyck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jammy Vrankx was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rens Van Deyck in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jammy Vrankx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jammy Vrankx came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Haneffe's Florian Temmerman. But to his dismay, Florian Temmerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Haneffe's goal looked a bit too open when Yannis Lenoir came free, but Carlos Suetens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Haneffe's Izak Kerselaers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Izak Kerselaers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Haneffe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Izak Kerselaers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Haneffe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruges Saint-Croix:s goal. After 38 minutes, Wouter Enfant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haneffe and the Bruges Saint-Croix players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Wouter Enfant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Temmerman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Jammy Vrankx when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half Bruges Saint-Croix were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Temmerman made a kick off. Matthieu Jansens hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Bruges Saint-Croix's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Temmerman came free, but Jammy Vrankx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Mathis Lambrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Haneffe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud De Werdt to maneuver through the defense. Dyllan Capellemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Suetens having to make a save. Carlos Suetens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dyllan Capellemans in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Bruges Saint-Croix's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Temmerman came free, but Jammy Vrankx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruges Saint-Croix's Jammy Vrankx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Temmerman in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Joris Vansteenbrugge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haneffe's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Vansteenbrugge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jammy Vrankx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jammy Vrankx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Temmerman in the 89th minute of the match. Florian Temmerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Suetens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthieu Jansens in the 99th minute. The Haneffe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bruges Saint-Croix's performance. The match ended with a win for Bruges Saint-Croix.
