Spectators: 7581 (Terracing: 5687, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yannis Lenoir kicked off to start the match. Jammy Vrankx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izak De Vaddere in the 9th minute of play. Jammy Vrankx came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Oosterzele's Patrick Heirpoel. But to his dismay, Patrick Heirpoel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Patrick Heirpoel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruges Saint-Croix's Jammy Vrankx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th match minute, KV Oosterzele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Van Houdtvinck to maneuver through the defense. Bruges Saint-Croix's Jammy Vrankx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Heirpoel in the 18th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Patrick Heirpoel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Patrick Heirpoel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jammy Vrankx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patrick Heirpoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yannis Lenoir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Patrik Englebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Patrick Heirpoel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bruges Saint-Croix's Jammy Vrankx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Izak De Vaddere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Van Impe kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Bruges Saint-Croix players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KV Oosterzele were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Heirpoel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Heirpoel might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jammy Vrankx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Heirpoel ran back to his position shaking his head. KV Oosterzele's Izak De Vaddere got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Patrick Heirpoel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jammy Vrankx was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Bruges Saint-Croix's zone, Izak De Vaddere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jammy Vrankx came out of the goal and Izak De Vaddere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Patrick Heirpoel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Heirpoel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jammy Vrankx having to interfere. Izak De Vaddere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jammy Vrankx having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, KV Oosterzele's Patrick Heirpoel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Izak De Vaddere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willem-Alexander Verheugen hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Patrick Heirpoel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jammy Vrankx having to interfere. If Patrick Heirpoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Bruges Saint-Croix fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KV Oosterzele were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
