Michael Geerts got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Los Capos Colocon's Michael Geerts got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Joos Van De Putts got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bruges Saint-Croix's Jammy Vrankx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Bruges Saint-Croix from getting a goal against them. Joos Van De Putts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joos Van De Putts struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jammy Vrankx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Capos Colocon. After the first half Bruges Saint-Croix were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Yannis Lenoir came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bruges Saint-Croix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannis Lenoir couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dyllan Capellemans got free with Timmy Moors in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Capos Colocon's Timmy Moors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Los Capos Colocon from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Los Capos Colocon's zone, Dyllan Capellemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Moors came out of the goal and Dyllan Capellemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bruges Saint-Croix supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bruges Saint-Croix would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
