Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Greg Van Lier took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, KFC Gijzegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manu Van Craesbeeck to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greg Van Lier in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Herinckx saved KFC Gijzegem from getting behind. Lennart Herinckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Van Lier in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, KFC Gijzegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manu Van Craesbeeck to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Herinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost De Mol in the 20th minute of the match. Timmy Moors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Vandenberge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, KFC Gijzegem's Mehmet Ferit İltemur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timmy Moors narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 33 minutes on the clock, Manu Van Craesbeeck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, KFC Gijzegem's Manu Van Craesbeeck got a free kick in the 34th minute. Joos Van De Putts might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Herinckx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joos Van De Putts ran back to his position shaking his head. Jannis De Pauw kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Ferit İltemur to make the kick off. The supporters of Los Capos Colocon booed when KFC Gijzegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannis De Pauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Ferit İltemur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Moors having to interfere. Timmy Moors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Ferit İltemur in the 71st minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Joost De Mol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Herinckx. Joost De Mol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greg Van Lier in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Herinckx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to KFC Gijzegem getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ryan Van Steen hit a great ball. With a little luck, KFC Gijzegem's Lennart Herinckx got control of the ball when Joost De Mol tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th match minute, KFC Gijzegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Van Steen to maneuver through the defense. Los Capos Colocon played a much better game than KFC Gijzegem and deserved their victory. The KFC Gijzegem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
