Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carel Elssen kicked off to start the match. Sautour's Christopher Schoenmakers got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amadeus Klakk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christopher Schoenmakers came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Sautour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Schoenmakers couldn't finish the play. Carel Elssen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris-George Cempenaers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Kestens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sautour's Marco Heremans got a free kick in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Laurens Wuttemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zalmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sautour the free kick. Laurens Wuttemans hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes FC Zalmen got a freekick which was hit by Freek Van den Broeck. In the 27th minute, FC Zalmen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tony Provoost fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Frederick Steckens managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Sautour's Tony Provoost fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute Christopher Schoenmakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Zalmen's Frederick Steckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Schoenmakers in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Christopher Schoenmakers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Steckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Carel Elssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris-George Cempenaers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes FC Zalmen got a freekick which was hit by Tommy De Cat. Sautour's Binjamin Maerschalcx got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christopher Schoenmakers to strike the kick off in the second half. Amadeus Klakk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Chris-George Cempenaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Chris-George Cempenaers managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when FC Zalmen's Amadeus Klakk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Elssen in the 59th minute of play forced Sautour's goalkeeper Chris-George Cempenaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carel Elssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeus Klakk kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 65thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sautour's keeper Chris-George Cempenaers was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Tony Provoost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Frederick Steckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Zalmen's Frederick Steckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Schoenmakers in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sautour's Emanuel van Eijnde got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sander Marrant kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Binjamin Maerschalcx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Zalmen booed when Sautour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel van Eijnde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeus Klakk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris-George Cempenaers having to interfere. 85 minutes in the game, Carel Elssen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chris-George Cempenaers having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Zalmen's Stefan van der Eycken got a free kick in the 90th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
