A hard shot 8 in the game by Jeremie Tombeur from a close distance when the talented Edmond Kint managed to make a qualified save. KV Moerbeke's players were relieved. Sammy Simons's late challenge caught a Kessel-Lo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Simons helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KV Moerbeke's Sammy Simons got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Filip Velkeneers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kessel-Lo's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Velkeneers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Kint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremie Tombeur took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Kint. Edmond Kint dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, KV Moerbeke's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Velkeneers came free, but Edmond Kint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Filip Velkeneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Kint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremie Tombeur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edmond Kint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KV Moerbeke's Roel Cuelens got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ricky Vuerinckx hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Edmond Kint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremie Tombeur in the 29th minute. Kessel-Lo's Jeremie Tombeur got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremie Tombeur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Kint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Dany-Adams Wijns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Kint having to interfere. KV Moerbeke's Edmond Kint proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save KV Moerbeke from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jeremie Tombeur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Kint was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Renaud Van Gertsuyden fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Moerbeke's protests and gave Renaud Van Gertsuyden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Renaud Van Gertsuyden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Kessel-Lo got a freekick which was hit by Nicolaas Van Den Broek. In the 44th minute Roel Cuelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Van der Perren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filip Velkeneers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roel Cuelens made a kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Renaud Van Gertsuyden completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Renaud Van Gertsuyden a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Renaud Van Gertsuyden hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes KV Moerbeke got a freekick which was hit by Anthoon Helsens. When Kessel-Lo's Filip Velkeneers in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KV Moerbeke's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute, Filip Velkeneers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Kint was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ricky Vuerinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alphonse Van der Perren made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Carlos Van Gorpt sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Van Gorpt got free with Alphonse Van der Perren in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emile Van der Weijden's late challenge caught a KV Moerbeke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emile Van der Weijden helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kessel-Lo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Emile Van der Weijden hit a great ball. After some careless play in the KV Moerbeke defense, Jeremie Tombeur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Kint. The KV Moerbeke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Kint should have stopped the shot. Sammy Simons's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alphonse Van der Perren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, KV Moerbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roel Cuelens to maneuver through the defense. Emile Van der Weijden kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nicolaas Van Den Broek might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Kint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolaas Van Den Broek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Nicolaas Van Den Broek made a precise shot to the right of Edmond Kint. KV Moerbeke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the KV Moerbeke defense, Ricky Vuerinckx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Kint. The KV Moerbeke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Kint should have stopped the shot. Nicolaas Van Den Broek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alphonse Van der Perren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Van Gorpt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 93 minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Kessel-Lo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
