Billie Jongbloedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Van Gorpt in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Fc idegem's goal looked a bit too open when Roel Cuelens came free, but Billie Jongbloedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Basiel Van den Berchen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc idegem and the KV Moerbeke players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc idegem's Mathis Van Deinze got a free kick in the 28th minute. Billie Jongbloedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Van Gorpt, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Constant Haemers hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Werner Olbrechts's late challenge caught a KV Moerbeke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Werner Olbrechts helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fc idegem's Werner Olbrechts got a free kick in the 34th minute. Roel Cuelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Jongbloedt having to interfere. Roel Cuelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Billie Jongbloedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathis Van Deinze got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mathis Van Deinze hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes Fc idegem's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joannes Sulems who took care of the corner kick.

In the 56th minute, Carlos Van Gorpt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Roel Cuelens came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the KV Moerbeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roel Cuelens couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute Roel Cuelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Jongbloedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Kint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Huyterhoeven in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Constant Haemers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Huyterhoeven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Edmond Kint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sammy Simons managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Moerbeke's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Simons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billie Jongbloedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roel Cuelens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billie Jongbloedt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dominick Lijsens. Billie Jongbloedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roel Cuelens in the 95th minute of the match. When Ruben Van Der Heijden came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Fc idegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Van Der Heijden couldn't finish the play. Constant Haemers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Edmond Kint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
