Alphonse Van der Perren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roben Lambrechts in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Kerselaar's zone, Jeremie Tombeur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaud Van Linthaut came out of the goal and Jeremie Tombeur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremie Tombeur struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Reinaud Van Linthaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kessel-Lo. AFC Kerselaar's Reinaud Van Linthaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Velkeneers in the 15th minute of play. Jeremie Tombeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeremie Tombeur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Yelle Van Gestelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Van der Perren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, AFC Kerselaar's goalkeeper Reinaud Van Linthaut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Velkeneers. Jeremie Tombeur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Reinaud Van Linthaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile Van der Weijden in the 29th minute of play forced AFC Kerselaar's goalkeeper Reinaud Van Linthaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alphonse Van der Perren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Bouwmans in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Kessel-Lo's goal looked a bit too open when Yelle Van Gestelt came free, but Alphonse Van der Perren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 36 in the game by Ricky Vuerinckx from a close distance when the talented Reinaud Van Linthaut managed to make a qualified save. AFC Kerselaar's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Heremans in the 41st minute of play forced Kessel-Lo's goalkeeper Alphonse Van der Perren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremie Tombeur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaud Van Linthaut having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yelle Van Gestelt to strike the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when AFC Kerselaar's Yelle Van Gestelt in the 51st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alphonse Van der Perren was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kessel-Lo through an amazing save. Roben Lambrechts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonse Van der Perren having to interfere. Simon Van de Velde kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Vuerinckx in the 56th minute of play forced AFC Kerselaar's goalkeeper Reinaud Van Linthaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roben Lambrechts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AFC Kerselaar booed when Kessel-Lo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremie Tombeur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roben Lambrechts got free with Alphonse Van der Perren in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremie Tombeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AFC Kerselaar's Yelle Van Gestelt got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd match minute, AFC Kerselaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Wolfs to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AFC Kerselaar getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Yelle Van Gestelt hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes AFC Kerselaar got a freekick which was hit by Ritchie Bouwmans. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kessel-Lo fully deserved thier win.
