Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guilian Rijniers started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, SK Heikruis's Hendrik-Jan Vereyt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wesley Gooris. Wesley Gooris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pierre-Paul De nuijter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Verheijd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Paul De nuijter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Verheijd, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Pierre-Paul De nuijter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilian Rijniers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik-Jan Vereyt in the 21st minute of play forced Erpent's goalkeeper Wesley Gooris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wesley Gooris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Vereyt, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 2-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Hendrik-Jan Vereyt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erpent's Fredrik Verheijd got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, SK Heikruis's Mats Philippaerts seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mats Philippaerts the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Heikruis protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mats Philippaerts had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gust Neefs might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley Gooris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gust Neefs ran back to his position shaking his head. Ray Vandewalle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, SK Heikruis's Gust Neefs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ray Vandewalle to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Herman Goffyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre-Paul De nuijter made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jeremie De Vorster sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Hubert Van den Gans in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SK Heikruis's Walter Wortelaert. Ray Vandewalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Vandewalle in the 60th minute of play forced Erpent's goalkeeper Wesley Gooris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Ray Vandewalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Gooris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Guilian Rijniers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ray Vandewalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gooris having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Guilian Rijniers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 81 played minutes Erpent got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Van den Gans. After a defensive mix-up in Erpent's zone, Ray Vandewalle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Gooris came out of the goal and Ray Vandewalle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ray Vandewalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gooris having to interfere. Wesley Gooris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Vandewalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, SK Heikruis's goal looked a bit too open when Guilian Rijniers came free, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gust Neefs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
