Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dimitri Kints started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Dimitri Kints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Vandewalle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Siebe Wilmots tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Wondelgem's Dimitri Kints got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, SK Heikruis's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Kints came free, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacq Gyselincx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Paul De nuijter having to interfere. Jorge Tilens charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Tilens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK Heikruis booed when FC Wondelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Tilens didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Wondelgem's Siebe Wilmots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik-Jan Vereyt in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Dimitri Kints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre-Paul De nuijter was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Dimitri Kints capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimitri Kints really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Dimitri Kints had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Vandewalle in the 36th minute of play forced FC Wondelgem's goalkeeper Siebe Wilmots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Dimitri Kints was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wondelgem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Heikruis the free kick. The supporters of SK Heikruis booed when FC Wondelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Kints didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Gust Neefs sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siebe Wilmots skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the FC Wondelgem defense, Ray Vandewalle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siebe Wilmots. The FC Wondelgem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siebe Wilmots should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Dimitri Kints hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, SK Heikruis's Gust Neefs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siebe Wilmots came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Heikruis reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt was the one to do the kick off. Pierre-Paul De nuijter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommas Caspers went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Pierre-Paul De nuijter came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wondelgem's Alfons Terwenhout. But to his dismay, Alfons Terwenhout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gust Neefs hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Alfons Terwenhout ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Paul De nuijter was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 76 minutes of play FC Wondelgem's Dimitri Kints was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to FC Wondelgem getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dimitri Kints hit a great ball. SK Heikruis's Pierre-Paul De nuijter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommas Caspers in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Tommas Caspers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wondelgem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommas Caspers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommas Caspers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SK Heikruis getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kenn Correyns hit a great ball. Tommas Caspers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pierre-Paul De nuijter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Paul De nuijter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Grootjans in the 94th minute of the match.
