Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hendrik-Jan Vereyt got the match started through his kick off. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Claes having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, SK Heikruis's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias-Alexander Fouquet came free, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Baraque booed when SK Heikruis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Philippaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Ottevaere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pierre-Paul De nuijter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ray Vandewalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Hendrik-Jan Vereyt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunther Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gunther Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Heikruis. In the 23rd minute Hendrik-Jan Vereyt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Jens Van Lier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Paul De nuijter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunther Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Vereyt in the 33rd minute of play. Gunther Claes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ray Vandewalle sent off a good shot on target. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gunther Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Heikruis. In the 40th minute Hendrik-Jan Vereyt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Baraque's Gunther Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik-Jan Vereyt in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Ray Vandewalle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Heikruis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Vandewalle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Van Lier in the 46th minute of play forced SK Heikruis's goalkeeper Pierre-Paul De nuijter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Paul De nuijter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias-Alexander Fouquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias-Alexander Fouquet made a kick off. If Hendrik-Jan Vereyt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ray Vandewalle in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunther Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SK Heikruis's Pierre-Paul De nuijter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Steenbecks in the 56th minute of play. Hendrik-Jan Vereyt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunther Claes having to interfere. A collision led to SK Heikruis getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gust Neefs hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Abel Ottevaere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pierre-Paul De nuijter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Billy Steenbecks kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ray Vandewalle struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gunther Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Heikruis. Ray Vandewalle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre-Paul De nuijter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Fouquet, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Baraque eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
