In the 22nd minute, Dimitri Verhulst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andris Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Kerckmans in the 24th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitri Verhulst made a kick off. With a little luck, VIP jack's Andris Van Dijck got control of the ball when Ivo Kerckmans tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Verhulst in the 58th minute of play forced VIP jack's goalkeeper Andris Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Maurice Boemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brent de Pelsmakere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andris Van Dijck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimitri Verhulst showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Dimitri Verhulst was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Doncaster Rovers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Maurice Boemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doncaster Rovers's Brent de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Tkint in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Doncaster Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Voet to maneuver through the defense. VIP jack's Pascal Laureys couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Doncaster Rovers. Ivo Kerckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andris Van Dijck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Kerckmans in the 83rd minute. When Dimitri Verhulst came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Doncaster Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitri Verhulst couldn't finish the play. Dimitri Verhulst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andris Van Dijck having to interfere.
