When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludo Schoutens made a kick off. Philippe-Arnaud Van Huruck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo Schoutens in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Laurenz Leenders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Philippe-Arnaud Van Huruck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Philippe-Arnaud Van Huruck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludo Schoutens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC Meerbeek's Ludo Schoutens got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Ferdinand Schipmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Meerbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Schipmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludo Schoutens in the 88th minute of play forced K.V. Kortrijk's goalkeeper Philippe-Arnaud Van Huruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ferdinand Schipmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludo Schoutens in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philippe-Arnaud Van Huruck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludo Schoutens in the 95th minute of play forced K.V. Kortrijk's goalkeeper Philippe-Arnaud Van Huruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
