Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manu Laurent kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Xander-Paul Schamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jef van haeve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buggenhout's supporters rose to their feet, but Jef van haeve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylven Schuts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sylven Schuts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Vischkens in the 12th minute of play. Sylven Schuts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Vischkens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes FC Stuiven got a freekick which was hit by Willem-Jan Cappelsmans. If Manu Laurent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Koen Boegaerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buggenhout's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Stuiven the free kick. Koen Boegaerts hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Jef van haeve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buggenhout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jef van haeve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Stuiven's Sylven Schuts got control of the ball when Jef van haeve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomm Van der Willeghem hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Manu Laurent made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Buggenhout's Frederic Roosendael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Terry Vischkens to make the kick off. Xander-Paul Schamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Frederic Roosendael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, FC Stuiven's Manu Laurent ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frederic Roosendael. Frederic Roosendael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terry Vischkens in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylven Schuts saved FC Stuiven from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xander-Paul Schamp got free with Frederic Roosendael in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jef van haeve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Sylven Schuts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Stuiven's Sylven Schuts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jef van haeve in the 81st minute of play. With his leg Frederic Roosendael managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when FC Stuiven's Xander-Paul Schamp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sylven Schuts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Vischkens in the 90th minute of play. Frederic Roosendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xander-Paul Schamp in the 92nd minute. Manu Laurent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederic Roosendael having to interfere. If Manu Laurent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
