Brent de Pelsmakere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brent de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richey Maerschalck in the 13th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Doncaster Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Van De Gehuchte to maneuver through the defense. Richey Maerschalck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Brent de Pelsmakere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luckas Verdun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Luckas Verdun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent de Pelsmakere having to interfere. Gert-Jan De Maret charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert-Jan De Maret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Doncaster Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert-Jan De Maret to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Doncaster Rovers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Quillian Van Haechten hit a great ball. If Richey Maerschalck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Barinho's Bobby Degraef proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barinho from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dimitri Verhulst to strike the kick off in the second half. When Piet Breugelmans fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barinho's protests and gave Piet Breugelmans a yellow card for diving instead. Doncaster Rovers's Ivo Kerckmans got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Brent de Pelsmakere managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when FC Barinho's Luckas Verdun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of FC Barinho booed when Doncaster Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert-Jan De Maret didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Doncaster Rovers's goalkeeper Brent de Pelsmakere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luckas Verdun. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barinho's zone, Dimitri Verhulst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Degraef came out of the goal and Dimitri Verhulst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Ivo Kerckmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Degraef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brent de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richey Maerschalck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 82nd minute of the match Piet Breugelmans completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Piet Breugelmans a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FC Barinho's Piet Breugelmans got a free kick in the 83rd minute. FC Barinho's Bobby Degraef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Kerckmans in the 84th minute of play. Rafael Lambrecht hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
