Bobby Degraef made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xander-Paul Schamp in the 8th minute. FC Barinho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Manu Laurent scored to the left of an out of position Bobby Degraef, making the score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, FC Barinho's goal looked a bit too open when Manu Laurent came free, but Bobby Degraef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, FC Barinho's Luckas Verdun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylven Schuts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manu Laurent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Luckas Verdun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylven Schuts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richey Maerschalck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Barinho booed when FC Stuiven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaud Conincx didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Luckas Verdun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sylven Schuts was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 37 minutes, Rafael Lambrecht mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barinho and the FC Stuiven players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richey Maerschalck to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Stuiven getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Manu Laurent hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stuiven's zone, Luckas Verdun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylven Schuts came out of the goal and Luckas Verdun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luckas Verdun was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of FC Stuiven:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Barinho:s goal. The goalkeeper, Sylven Schuts, was totally fooled by FC Barinho's Leo Stas, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Luckas Verdun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richey Maerschalck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sylven Schuts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Xander-Paul Schamp made a precise shot to the right of Bobby Degraef. FC Barinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 2-2 became the score in the 93rd minute when Richey Maerschalck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Manu Laurent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Bobby Degraef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
