After 8 minutes, Noel De Kerpel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIP jack and the Buggenhout players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noel De Kerpel hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Buggenhout's Tomm Van der Willeghem broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kristen Moerman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Buggenhout got a freekick which was hit by Serge Van Gorpt. In the 16th minute, Terry Vischkens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andris Van Dijck. The goal made the score 1-0. VIP jack's Andris Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Vischkens in the 27th minute of play. Andris Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Vischkens in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Kent Tkint managed to get in a good position for a shot. VIP jack's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Tkint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederic Roosendael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Terry Vischkens came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Buggenhout fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terry Vischkens couldn't finish the play. Terry Vischkens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Andris Van Dijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurice Boemans got free with Frederic Roosendael in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaert Thielens's late challenge caught a VIP jack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The penalty shot was made by Pascal Laureys, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buggenhout's Frederic Roosendael. 1-2. When VIP jack's Kent Tkint in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buggenhout's goalie prevented a goal. The VIP jack players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
