VIP jack's Maurice Boemans got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xander-Paul Schamp in the 20th minute of play forced VIP jack's goalkeeper Andris Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Kent Tkint managed to get in a good position for a shot. VIP jack's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Tkint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylven Schuts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, VIP jack's goal looked a bit too open when Xander-Paul Schamp came free, but Andris Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Maurice Boemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sylven Schuts. FC Stuiven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurice Boemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. FC Stuiven's Sylven Schuts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Tkint in the 40th minute of play. Xander-Paul Schamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andris Van Dijck having to make a save. Thibaud Conincx struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Andris Van Dijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stuiven. VIP jack's Andris Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander-Paul Schamp in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Manu Laurent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manu Laurent was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. FC Stuiven's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Maurice Boemans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIP jack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Boemans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manu Laurent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A collision led to FC Stuiven getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Carel Wijnants hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Stuiven players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VIP jack.
