In the 19th match minute, FC Gundekose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Oelaerts to maneuver through the defense. Robbrecht Coosemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolf Tilemans in the 21st minute of the match. Robbrecht Coosemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Tilemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolf Tilemans struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Robbrecht Coosemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Westrozebeke. If Robbe Demeyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Robbe Demeyer notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Gundekose's Robbrecht Coosemans. Robbrecht Coosemans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Jeremy Coveliers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Frederick Van Lint was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Dolf Tilemans fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Westrozebeke's protests and gave Dolf Tilemans a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK Westrozebeke getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dolf Tilemans hit a great ball. Jeremy Coveliers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Frederick Van Lint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Gundekose's Robbrecht Coosemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Gundekose from getting a goal against them. Vic Van Mellart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robbe Demeyer came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SK Westrozebeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbe Demeyer couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes FC Gundekose got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Knockaert. When Robbe Demeyer came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SK Westrozebeke fans jumped to their feet.
